Sissy and A.Day and my biggest child....Jeff had a rootin tootin time at Lagoon last week. Not rain, nor heat, nor illness could dampen the mood of this trip! Uncle Devo and his family and aunt Mammy and her family joined us for the fun.

Twin Falls Temple Open House

To kickoff our trip to Utah this year we made our first stop in Twin for the Temple open house! This was such a great opportunity for the kids to see the inside of a temple and witness for themselves how beautiful it is inside. The kids (and us) were blown away by the crystal chandeliers, the wood work, the flooring and the hand blown glass...all containing the Syringa ( Idaho's state flower). Even the carpeting had Syringa's embedded in the design. There was also a full 3 wall mural of the snake river canyon done by an artist from BYU-Idaho. Absolutely stunning!

New Family Babies!!!

This is Devon and Keriann's baby girl (Kennedy Kayte) and Mandy and Cody's little boy (Perry Joe). I'm biased, of course, but I think they are the cutest darn bee bee's on the planet right now. They braved the day at Lagoon with us last week and did so great. Aunt Trina had one of them in her arms at all times...they were too cute to put down!

Breaking Dawn is Finally Here!

Here we all are giddy with anticipation as our numbers are called up to get our copies of "Breaking Dawn". Syd, Halle, Kelli, Abby, Miranda and Me were all super excited to start reading even though it was well after 1:00 am when we finally had books in hand!

Party Time at Barnes and Noble

This is our little clan having fun at the Barnes and Noble Twilight Party last night. We all had a great time visiting and eating and giggling. There were about 10 bajillion teenie boppers and some old timers like me and Kelli packed into this bookstore! I think toward the end of the night it was about 110 degrees with humidity in there! We had to sneak out and go for ice cream before they started handing out books. We all had fun. It was cool to see all the Twilighters dressed up like vampires and stuff.
We ended up having a pretty big group. Me, Syd, Kelli, Kelli's son Dylan, Kellis' sister in law Hailey, Miranda Whitney, Abby Larson, Halle Larson, Abby's friend Sam and then a couple others we met there.
Today we're all hunkered down reading the book...we all had to make an oath not to spill the plot of the ending to each other! Okay...we're nerds. Okay...maybe just me.

Ahhhh....The Book we've all been waiting for!

Me and Syd at around 1:00 am. This pic was taken after waiting in line for quite a while in a room with 500 extremely loud teenage girls! When the clock struck midnight and the clerks started handing out the books it got so loud it was like standing behind a jet engine when it starts. It was funny the first 10 or so times that someone would get the book in their hands and scream at the top of their lungs....after about the 50th time it got down right annoying! Good times!

Twilight Party

So, here are the pics I promised from our big "Twilight/ Breaking Dawn Night". We all made our own t-shirts for this big shin dig....cheap and creative!! I know it's hard to read, so I'll translate. That's me on the left (note the dazed look in my eyes from having a root canal two hours earlier!). My shirt says..."I know I'm Edward's Type...(on the front). "A" Positive (on the back). Next to me is Miranda Whitney, she's from Michigan and here for the summer staying with her Dad and Step-mom (our friends Tyler and Jane). Her shirt says "Bite Me". Next to Miranda is Abby, our friends Jane and Tyler's daughter. Her shirt says..."If Bella chooses Jacob....I'll be first in line for Edward!" Her friend Sam is next to her and her shirt says the same thing. Then in front are Syd and her best friend Halle (also Jane and Tyler's daughter). They made up their own sayings on the shirts. They say...My mom/ My sisters are twilight freaks!
